A $1 processing fee is added to the price of every gift card.
Be aware that the Zoo Society does not email or mail gift cards to buyers or to gift recipients. Cards must be picked up at the Earth Explorer gift shop in the North American entry plaza.
The person picking up the card or cards must present a digital or printed copy of the receipt issued from the web store at the time of the purchase and a picture ID that identifies him or her as the buyer or the authorized recipient of the gift card.
Buyers and authorized gift recipients can use these same documents to enter the Zoo through the Zoo Society's members-only ticket booth in North American (booth number 6) to pickup their cards.

If you purchased your gift card online and did not receive or cannot find your email receipt, you can request that it be resent by emailing jparker@nczoo.com. Please include the name of the person who purchased the gift card in your email and tell us if you want the receipt emailed to the buyer, the gift recipient or both
