Meet and Feed the Elephants
Spend an hour to an hour-and-a-half touring the elephant barn and seeing the remarkable cooperation and trust that exists between the Zoo's elephants and their professional caretakers. This adventure is an exciting way to learn about the Zoo's comprehensive attention to animal well-being and the Zoo's conservation work with elephants in the wild. Cap off the day by feeding one of the Zoo's elephants.
Tour Date: Saturday, April 25, 2020; 1:30 p.m.
Pricing: $104.25 each for Society member; $119.25 each for non-members
Tour Logistics: Meet your Zoo Society tour guide at the plaza that sits between the Zoo's two elephant habitats. Your guide will escort you to a tour bus that will drive the group behind the scenes to the elephant barn.
Tour Requirements: Children must be at least 12 years old to attend this tour. Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Tour size is limited to 16 people. Please note that VIP passes do not cover admission fees to enter the North Carolina Zoo.
