Gift Card Protocols - Read Carefully!

The person designated to use a North Carolina Zoo Society gift card must pick the card up in person at the Earth Explorer gift shop in the North American entry plaza.

To pick up a gift card, the designated card user must present a picture ID and a copy of the email or post card receipt that list them as the designed user of the gift card.  Designated users can also present these two documents at the Zoo Society's members-only ticket booth (booth number 6) to enter the Zoo and go to the gift shop to pick up their cards. 

Cards must be picked up during the Zoo's normal operating hours—when the Zoo is open to the public.
