Mama Leia! Lady Leia's having a baby!

We are not sure when her calf will arrive, but it should be sometime in the summer of 2023! This calf will be her first, so we want to mark this occasion by offering a special adoption package named in her honor.

Adopt Mama Leia, and you will receive a small plush giraffe (Mama Leia is the most petite giraffe in the Zoo's herd!), a Giraffe Fact Sheet adorned with a photo of Mama Leia, an Adoption Decal, and an official Adoption Certificate that we personalize with the name of the adopting parent. 

This adoption is another way to express our joy about the upcoming birth. The Zoo will use the funds raised through this special adoption to provide enrichment toys and treats for Leia and her calf and similar treats and animal welfare items for all of the Zoo's animals.
