The Zoo is Beginning to Restore its Lunch and Learn experiences.
Lunch and Learn programs last about an hour and begin at noon. They are available on weekdays only. Each program includes lunch for up to two people and the Zoo professional, as well as a brief behind-the-scenes experience. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
Lunch and Learn With a Zoo Vet - Currently Available
This program includes a tour of the Zoo’s veterinary hospital and Valerie H. Schindler Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
Lunch and Learn With a Zoo Curator - Some programs available
Learn how these professionals oversee the well-being of the Zoo’s animals. This program includes lunch with one of the following: Curator of Behavioral Management, Curator of Birds; Curator of Horticulture, Curator of Reptiles, Amphibians, Fish, and Invertebrates; Curator of Mammals (Elephants & Rhinos); Curator of Mammals (Apes/Monkeys, Cats and Bears).

Lunch and Learn With a Zookeeper
Learn some of the ins and outs of zookeeping at a major zoo.
Keeper choices are:
