Lunch and Learn With a Keeper Who Works With Zoo Canids (Wolves or Foxes).

Product Description

Lunch and Learn with a Keeper Who Specializes in Caring for Members of the Dog Family (wolves or foxes).

Spend an hour or so talking with a zookeeper about the husbandry procedures Zoo staff follows when caring for members of the Canid, or dog family (Red Wolves or Arctic Foxes). This experience provides lunch for two guests and a zookeeper and includes a brief behind-the-scenes tour with the keeper.

To secure your Lunch and Learn experience, select the month that you want to meet with one of the Zoo's wild dog keepers and specify at least three weekdays when you can be available for this experience.

Once we have your request, we will pair you with an appropriate zookeeper and will send you an email confirming the date for your personalized Lunch and Learn experience. Your confirmation email will include directions about where and when to meet your keeper that day.

Your payment includes a $250 tax-deductible donation to the North Carolina Zoological Society, the private 501(c)3 non-profit that raises funds for the North Carolina Zoo. The proceeds from Lunch and Learn encounters are used to support the most pressing needs of the Zoo's Animal Section. Among other things, these needs may include purchasing materials for animal enrichment, funding keeper training opportunities, or supporting research or activities that promote animal well-being.
