Family Tour Details

Tour Dates:  March 22, May 17, July 12, September 20

Tour Time and Meeting Place: 10:30 a.m.; Guests meet at the Porcupine Habitat in North America's Rocky Coast facility,

Minimum Age: 5 years old - Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Tour Overview: This tour usually ends around noon. Guests visit the Polar Bears' and puffins' off-habitat spaces and learn how keepers interact with and care for these species. Tours content varies from day to day to accommodate the daily needs of the animals, but most tours allow guests to see a training or feeding session with a Polar Bear and/or a puffin and, usually, an enrichment activity constructed for the Arctic Foxes and/ or the porcupine.  Guests may not take photographs while touring the behind-the-scenes facilities. Photographs are permitted in the public areas.
