Corporate Lion Memberships

The North Carolina Zoo Society's Corporate Membership programs provide a venue for businesses to invest in the cultural values served by the North Carolina Zoo. In return for their investments, Corporate Members gain visibility and receive benefits that the Society has organized exclusively for them.

At the Corporate Lion level, these benefits include:

• 400 one-day admission passes to the North Carolina Zoo. Each pass is imprinted with the name of the Corporate Lion member, admits one person, and entitles the bearer to a 10 percent discount on items purchased in a Zoo gift shop. 
  
  
• 8 Corporate VIP Membership cards imprinted with the name of the Corporate Lion member. Corporate Lion VIP cards admit 6 people for each visit and remain valid for 12 months or until the number of guests using the cards combines to total 400, whichever comes first. These cards also entitle the bearer to a 10 percent discount on items purchased in a Zoo gift shop. 
  
  
• The names of all active Corporate Lion Members are prominently displayed on a pylon near the Zoo's Lion Habitat.

In addition, all Corporate Members' employees receive a 25 percent discount on the price of a Zoo Society membership, and the Zoo Society discounts the fees Corporate Members pay when purchasing extra Zoo admission tickets or renting picnic or meeting spaces at the Zoo. NOTE: Businesses may waive these benefits to claim the entire cost of the membership as a charitable tax deduction. Businesses that waive their benefits may choose to donate their Zoo admission tickets to a non-profit of their choice or to a non-profit selected by the Zoo Society.
