Tour Overview:
Guests may not take photographs behind the scenes.
This 1-hour tour takes guests on a behind-the-scenes adventure to learn about these two critically endangered species—one a predator, the other a prey species. Guests will visit the tiger's holding area, where keepers will explain how they care for these predators while they conduct a training session or an enrichment demonstration with the tigers. Next, guests will visit the warty pigs’ off-habitat training area to observe either a training or an enrichment session conducted with the pigs. Guests are encouraged to ask plenty of questions during these encounters.

Health and Safety Restrictions: Because many large cat species are susceptible to COVID infections, guests must wear masks during the tiger portion of this tour. Also, because Malayan Tigers are native to tropical areas, they are not adapted to cooler temperatures. For their health and comfort, this tour is not available when air temperatures fall below 45 degrees F.
If we cancel a tour because of weather or management concerns, we will work with guests and keepers to reschedule the tour on a mutually agreed-upon date or to issue a full refund.
