VIP Howl with the Wolves
Meeting Time and Place: 4:45 p.m.. Guests meet in front of the Stedman Education Building (the large mirrored building located to the left of the North America Entrance to the park.
Minimum Age Requirement: 10 years of age, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult
Tour Overview: Guests will board a shuttle and ride into the Zoo after hours to see wolves, bison and elk. Guides will discuss the plight of the most endangered Canine species in the world and share some interesting facts about them. Guests will then howl with the guide in an attempt to solicit a response from our NC Zoo wolf pack. This tour lasts about an hour.
ADA Restrictions: This tour is ADA accessible, please just let us know if someone in your group has mobility issues so we can have appropriate transport ready.
Park admission is included in the ticket price for non-members. Guests choosing to visit the park before their tour must exit the park when it closes and return at the designated tour meeting time. There are several local restaurants in town to grab dinner before the tour, or guests can bring a picnic supper and eat at the Solar Point or Dragonfly picnic areas located in the North America Parking area. If guests prefer, they can enjoy a hike on the Purgatory Mountain trail located at the North end of the North America Parking area.
